Google Analytics – world's leader in website visits statistics and analytics. It provides comprehensive reports in various metrics and parameters.
Settings are simple and do not take much of your time.
There are two setting up types: automatic when your website already has Google Analytics code and manual.
Step #1 – Embedding tracking code
#1.1 Automatical code detection
After the successful widget installation on your website, it will check if Google Analytics code was installed before. If yes, the EasyWeek widget will send events directly to Google Analytics. In this case, skip the next step.
#1.2 Manual input of tracking code
Proceed to the official website https://analytics.google.com/, go to the site settings, click on Tracking Code, and copy Tracking ID.
At this moment, we support Google Universal Analytics (GA4) code.
And the next move is adding this ID into EasyWeek settings.
Go to Integrations, scroll down to the Google Analytics card or type it to the search field.
Paste copied identifier into Manually define tracking ID.
Step #2 – Setting up conversion tracking
Go to your project settings in Google Analytics, then the Goals menu.
Create a new goal and enter the following parameters:
