The widget guides clients through online appointment creation. This part of the website allows clients to choose an available service, description, price, assigned worker, and free booking slots on the calendar. It takes a few clicks to gather all the required booking information and make an appointment.
How to customize the widget we reviewed in this article.
Default capabilities
EasyWeek automatically creates a website for your company, which already includes a ready-made widget – no programming skills are required on your part:
Advanced options
If you wish to install the widget on your own website, this is also possible. To do this, copy the HTML code from the "Integrations and Applications" section and place it in your site's code.
There are several types of widgets, among which you can choose the suitable integration method:
- Widget button. An online booking button will appear in the bottom right corner by default. Customized parameters: enable/disable the button, hide/show button tooltip, adjust text colors.
- Custom button. A version of the first option. You can attach widget code to any website element by specifying its CSS class. For example, if the HTML of the button is <a class="booking">Click</a>, please add booking in the field.
- Embed block. To create an online block on your site, place the frame code on the page's desired place.
- Embed as a page. This embed code displays the online booking widget on the entire webpage.
Getting the widget code
As an interactive way to generate code for different widgets, we recommend using www.easyweek-widget-examples.netlify.app. There, you can visually choose the widget's appearance from the presented options and immediately get a ready code fragment for it.
You also have access to generating the HTML code of the widget in the personal account. Go to the Integrations and Apps – Booking Widget section. Select the type and main parameters of the widget, and copy the generated code on the right side of the page:
Using the code
Further use of the HTML code of the widget depends on the specific development environment you use and other aspects. We provide you with more detailed integration instructions for three popular website builders:
