Facebook pixel for a website
Using this configuration, you can set up conversion tracking on FB.
Due to the Meta rules, you should own the domain to link a marketing campaign with them. On the EasyWeek site, there is a need to set up the personal domain. More information is here.
Then, you have to verify the website. Let's see how to do it with a verification code:
- Open Events manager of your FB account.
- Choose or create a pixel. Copy Pixel ID.
- Find and copy the Verification code. Here is more about it.
- Log in to your EasyWeek account.
- Go to Integrations – Analytics – Facebook pixel – Connect.
- Enter ID and code into the form.
Facebook pixel for a widget
You can track conversions via widget by connecting a Facebook pixel. The code is effective for any widget.
- Open Events manager of your FB account.
- Choose or create a pixel. Copy Pixel ID.
- Log in to your EasyWeek account.
- Go to Integrations – Analytics – Facebook pixel – Connect.
- Scroll down to the widget settings. Choose "Auto-detect tracking ID" if the page where you embed the widget already has a Facebook pixel. In another case, select "Manually define Pixel ID" and put the ID into the field.
In both cases, the verification code should be inserted not into your widget configuration but the website settings (see here for more details).
Ad blockers
Some ad blockers can disable a Facebook pixel code. We advise you to switch them off on the EasyWeek website. We won't show you ads, but the Facebook pixel can be mistakenly blocked.
