You can delete everything yourself, right from the interface. Deletion is irreversible, so first make sure you understand what exactly you are deleting.

A company and an account are different things

  • Company (workspace) — your business in EasyWeek: locations, staff, services, customers, bookings, website, and subscription.
  • Account — your personal EasyWeek login. One account can own several companies.

You can delete just the company and keep your account, or delete the company together with your account — in one go.

Before you delete

  • If cost is the issue, take a look at the subscription types: a simpler plan may be all you need.
  • If the business stays but you are leaving, transfer ownership to another staff member instead of deleting. The button is in the same place, in the Danger zone.
  • Export anything you may need later: your customer base and reports.
  • Warn your customers: after deletion, online booking stops working and reminders for already existing bookings will not be sent.

Who can delete

Only the company's owner can delete it — staff members and administrators simply do not have these buttons in their settings. If the owner is unavailable, ask them to transfer ownership to you first.

How to delete a company

  1. Open Settings → Company → General tab and scroll down to the Danger zone block.
  2. Click Delete my company.
  3. On the page that opens, review the list of what will be deleted: locations, staff, customers, upcoming bookings, the company website, and the subscription. The numbers reflect your actual company — this is your last chance to change your mind.
  4. In the confirmation dialog, type the exact company name. The button becomes active only on a full match: letter case and spaces matter, so it is best to copy the name.
  5. Confirm the deletion. If more than a few minutes have passed since you signed in, the system will ask you to sign in again — this is a safeguard for critical actions; after signing in, the deletion continues from the same step.

After a successful deletion you will see a confirmation screen. The Continue button signs you out — or, if you have other workspaces left, takes you to them.

How to delete a company together with your account

In the same Danger zone there is a Delete this company and my account option. If you own several companies, the button will offer to delete all your companies and your account at once and show how many there are. The confirmation here is your email address.

How to delete only your account

If you own no companies (or have already transferred them to other owners), delete your account in your EasyWeek ID profile — the Account section, Delete only my account.

While you still own at least one company, this button is unavailable: next to it you will see a list of your companies with Transfer ownership and Delete actions. As soon as the last company is released, the account deletion starts automatically — the screen tracks this on its own, no need to refresh the page.

What happens to your subscription and payments

  • The subscription is cancelled automatically — you do not need to cancel it separately before deleting.
  • The paid period is not refunded: the subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and is not renewed after that.
  • Subscriptions of all locations and add-on modules are cancelled, not just the main plan.

What happens after deletion

  • The admin panel, the company website, and the online booking widget stop opening; new bookings are no longer accepted.
  • Staff members lose access to the company.
  • Reminders and notifications for this company's bookings are no longer sent.
  • After the account is deleted, you can no longer sign in with it — neither with a password nor with an email code.

Can it be restored

No. Deletion is irreversible: a deleted company or account cannot be brought back.

Frequently asked questions

The delete button is inactive. The company name was not typed exactly — check the letter case and any extra spaces at the beginning or end.

I cannot remove the only owner from the staff list. That is by design: a company cannot be left without an owner. Transfer ownership to another staff member first — or delete the whole company.

It asks me to sign in again. That is normal: irreversible actions require a fresh sign-in. After signing in again you will return to the same step.

"Too many attempts." Deletion actions are rate-limited — wait a minute and try again.

After deleting my company I was redirected to creating a new one. That is expected: your account is still alive, it just owns no companies anymore. If you want to leave completely, delete your account in your EasyWeek ID profile.
