The EasyWeek catalog is a public directory of businesses that take bookings through EasyWeek. Clients open it to find a salon, a barbershop, a clinic or a studio in their city and book straight away. Listing is free and included in every plan.
Whether your place appears in the catalog, and how high it stands on category and city pages, depends on its rating. This guide explains what the rating is made of and what you can do today to raise it.

How the rating works
The rating is calculated per location and has two halves:
- Profile completeness. Name, description, services, team, working hours, address, logo, photos, amenities and social media. This half decides whether a client sees a real, trustworthy business or an empty card.
- Activity through EasyWeek. Bookings made through EasyWeek in the last 30 days and reviews left by real clients after their visits. This half tells the catalog that the place is open and people actually go there.
A complete profile gets you listed. Real bookings and good reviews move you up. A busy place with many bookings gets noticed even before its profile is polished, but it only reaches the top with both halves in place.
The rating is shown in your admin as a level: Getting started, Almost there, Listed, Strong and Top. It is recalculated every night when your profile has changed, and you can recalculate it on demand on the catalog page in your admin (see below).
We do not publish the exact formula, points or thresholds. Everything in this article moves the rating in the direction described, and the checklist in your admin shows what is still missing for your place.
Fill in your profile
Go through the checklist below. Next to each item we note where to change it and how much it matters: high, medium or small lift.

Business name (high)
Use the real name of your business, the one clients know from your sign and social media. Names like "Test", "Demo" or "My salon" are treated as placeholders and such places are not listed.
Where: Settings › Workspace › Overview for the company name, Business › Locations › Edit for the location name.
Description (high)
Write two or three sentences about the place: what you do, what you are known for, who you work with. A short line like "Beauty salon" is not enough; an empty description is one of the most common reasons a place stays unlisted.
Where: Business › Locations › Edit, the description field. See also Adding company info.
Services (high)
Add your real services with prices and duration, and give each one a public description and a category. A few well-described services matter more than a long list of bare names.
Delete the demo services that were created for you at registration. Demo services never count, and a place that has nothing but demo services is not listed.
Where: Business › Services. See How to fill out a services list and Service categories: photos, colour, sorting.
Team and working schedule (high)
Add the people who provide services, with real names and photos, and set their working schedule. A location with a schedule is bookable, and the catalog only promotes places a client can actually book.
Where: Employees for the team, Business › Locations › Hours for the location hours. See Add employees to the organisation, Work schedule for staff and units and How to set branch working hours.
Address (medium)
Check that the address is complete and the pin on the map is in the right place. Clients filter the catalog by city and distance, so a wrong pin hides you from the people next door.
Where: Business › Locations › Edit, the address card. See Adding locations/branches.
Logo and photos (medium)
Upload your logo and at least a few photos of the location: the entrance, the interior, the workplace, results of your work. A card without photos is easy to skip, and clients choose places they can see.
Where: Settings › Workspace › Overview for the logo, Business › Locations › Edit for the photo gallery. See Company logo and profiles photo and Set the branch photos.
Amenities and social media (small)
Tick the amenities you offer (parking, Wi-Fi, card payment, wheelchair access and so on) and add links to your Instagram, Facebook or other pages. Small things, but they complete the picture for a client who is choosing between two places.
Where: Business › Locations › Edit for amenities, Settings › Workspace › Overview for social media links.
Everything is ticked, but the place is still not listed
The checklist shows what is filled in. The rating additionally checks that the texts are real. A description made of filler words, a name that is only the type of business, or a team member called "test12" count as empty even though the field is not blank.
Such rows are marked Rewrite in the checklist, with a hint on what to change, and they come first in the steps to publication. Examples of text that is treated as a placeholder:
- "The best salon in town, we are the best of all salons" or a sentence repeated to reach the length;
- "Description will be here", "Lorem ipsum", "Test";
- a team member named "test", "admin" or by an email login instead of a real name.
Bookings and reviews start counting only once the profile itself is solid. Until then they are not offered as next steps: fix the texts first.
If the profile as a whole looks like a test account, the catalog page shows a warning and the place stays unlisted until the test names and filler text are replaced with real details.
Bookings and reviews are the biggest lever
Once the profile is complete, the rating grows with real activity. Two things count: bookings made through EasyWeek in the last 30 days and reviews from clients who visited you.

Bring bookings through EasyWeek
- Share your booking link in messengers and social media, and put the booking button on Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps.
- Book returning clients through EasyWeek too, not on paper: every completed booking counts.
- Keep the schedule up to date so the booking widget always shows free slots.
Collect reviews after every visit
- Turn on the Review request reminder (Promote › Reminders) so every client receives a link to leave a review after the visit. Only clients who booked through EasyWeek can leave one, which is why the catalog trusts these reviews.
- Reply to reviews, including the critical ones. A place that answers looks alive and cared for.
- Keep the average high: the catalog looks at both the number of reviews and the average rating.
See How to manage client reviews and EasyWeek automatic reminders.
Extra signals
Gift cards (small)
Places that sell gift cards through EasyWeek get a small lift: a working gift-card page is a sign of an active business. Where: Promote › Gift cards. See Gift cards.
Verified badge (medium)

Verified businesses get a check mark on their card and profile, raise their rating, and clients can filter the catalog to show verified places only.
The badge is granted manually by the EasyWeek team. Requirements:
- an active annual plan;
- a manual check of the business by our team.
To request verification, write to us in the support chat in your admin. The badge is tied to the annual plan.
What lowers the rating or blocks the listing
- Placeholder names such as "Test", "Demo" or "Sample" in the business or location name.
- Only demo services, or no services at all.
- An empty description, no photos, no working schedule.
- Filler text in the description, placeholder services or test names in the team (see above).
- Test accounts created to try the system out.
If a listed place stops meeting the requirements, for example after services or the schedule are removed, it can be hidden from the catalog again until the profile is fixed.
Where to check your place
Open Online › EasyWeek marketplace in your admin. For every location you will see whether it is listed, its current level, when the rating was last calculated, a link to the public page and a checklist of what is still missing.
After you make changes, press Recalculate: the rating is recalculated within seconds and a notification lists which checklist rows changed. Each location has 3 manual runs per day, so make all the changes first. When the runs are used up, the button is disabled and the page tells you when the next automatic recalculation happens: every night the catalog recalculates locations whose profile changed since the last run, and the 3 runs open again at the same time.
You can also hide a location from the catalog on the same page if you do not want it to be listed.
Frequently asked questions
How fast does the rating update?
Press Recalculate on the catalog page and the result appears within seconds. Without the button, changes to the profile are picked up by the nightly recalculation.
Is listing in the catalog free?
Yes. Every EasyWeek plan, including the free one, can be listed. Only the Verified badge requires an annual plan.
Why is my place not listed yet?
Most often because of an empty or filler description, missing photos, no working schedule or demo services left over from registration. Open the checklist on the catalog page: it shows exactly what is missing for your place, and rows marked Rewrite explain which texts were judged as placeholders.
Does the paid plan raise the rating?
Listing does not depend on the plan. What matters is a complete profile and real bookings and reviews through EasyWeek. The Verified badge, which does raise the rating, is available to businesses on an annual plan after a manual check.
Can I hide my place from the catalog?
Yes. Open Online › EasyWeek marketplace and press Hide from the catalog for the location. You can publish it again at any time.
