Our system has plenty of methods to notify you, your clients, and your employees about appointments. SMS messages are the most popular way.
EasyWeek is set as a default SMS provider.
Nexmo can be selected as another provider.
SMS notifications settings
Notifications send before, shortly before, after the appointment time, and when it is created. In addition to setting the number of messages, you can control the text content and the sending period.
- Click on Settings in the left vertical menu.
- Expand the SMS Notifications block.
- Select which settings you want to change: for customers or staff.
- You can change the preset text of the alert to your own. Use variables to personalise the message and to add order details.
- Then, short moderation follows before the message is ready to send.
Your messages to clients will feel more personal if you add a client name or other personal data. Appointment details are helpful as well. Using variables like :customer_full_name helps create a mutual template for all such messages.

The standard SMS length is 160 symbols. Spaces are counted as well. Of course, as usual messages, your notifications can be longer, but in that case, you will spend more SMS from your account balance.
There is a counter near the textbox, which helps you estimate the needed number of parts. Remember that message can stretch with variable data such as a client name or service title.
SMS balance top-up
The easiest way to activate notifications is to purchase SMS packages through EasyWeek. This provider is set as the default method, which is enough to replenish the balance in the system and activate the necessary alerts. You don't need to sign additional agreements and wait for approval to start the mailing list.

These alerts are free but less tunable. Actually, you can enable or disable some types of them on the page Settings – Email Notifications.

Please note that the client's email address is not always a required field to book a service, so the client may not receive such a notification.
